The opponent must then enter that checker back onto the board before moving any other checkers, starting from their opponent's home board.
Rule 5: Bearing off can only begin when all of a player's checkers are in their home board. You bear off a checker by rolling a number corresponding to the point the checker is on. If there is no checker on the point indicated by the roll, you must make a legal move with a checker on a higher-numbered point. If there are no checkers on higher-numbered points, you must remove a checker from the highest point that is occupied.
